Estimates only — not professional advice

Every calculator and cost figure on ConstructionCalc is a planning estimate. The site does not provide professional engineering, architectural, construction, or contracting advice; it does not replace site-specific measurements, local code review, or a contractor's judgement. Before you order materials, schedule labour, or begin construction, you must confirm quantities and prices with a qualified professional and with your supplier.

Material weights and coverages assume typical dry, loose conditions and vary with moisture, compaction, and the specific product your supplier provides. Cost ranges reflect typical public-data conditions and do not capture local availability, delivery minimums, or seasonal variation. Use the calculator output as a starting point, not as a quote.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moving Data Systems d.o.o. (and its directors, employees, contractors, and suppliers) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost profits, delays, materials ordered in excess or shortfall, or costs of substitute services — arising out of or related to your use of the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded by applicable law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is zero.

Intellectual property

Site content (text, layout, design, software, illustrations) is owned by Moving Data Systems d.o.o. or its licensors and is protected by Slovenian and international copyright law. You may use the calculators and read the prose for personal and professional planning. You may not republish substantial portions of the prose, scrape or systematically harvest calculator output, or remove copyright or source attributions.

Public-data figures (USGS, BLS, ASTM, manufacturer specs) belong to their respective publishers; we cite the source on every page where we display them.

Acceptable use

Don't use the site to do things that would be illegal where you are; don't attempt to overload, probe, or circumvent the site's security; don't impersonate the operator or claim affiliation that does not exist. Routine automated access for personal use is fine; large-scale scraping is not.

Tool pages link to primary sources such as USGS publications, FRED series pages, and manufacturer spec sheets. Those sites are operated by their respective owners and are subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the content of third-party sites; the citations are provided so you can verify our work.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising under or related to these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Slovenia.
